while jogging, jus recalled an incident that both nik & me witnessed 2 days ago during our groceries-shopping..
we're queuing for the cashier & there's this family paying for their stuffs in front of us - a mom, a big sis (13-15yrs) & toddler boy (at most 2 yrs).
have no idea what happened but the toddler started his 'crocodile tears' however, the big sis is trying to console him.. N jus suddenly out of nowhere, the toddler pointed his middle finger at his sis while staring furiously at her!!!!!
what the freaking hell?!!!! *damn disgusted!* =S
the sis was so embarrassed when she knew we saw that..
i mean.. can u even imagine what sort of home environment does these kids grow up in??! the toddler's freaking 2 yrs old, can't even pronounce a few words & yet he knows how to point the middle finger.. *damn*
having a mini-holiday & am slackin' at home this v. moment while i'm suppose to complete my assignments.. hee =P *shi0k-shi0k*

and this girl here is super 'sua ku' lor.. 1st time in my life i did or experience cooking for offerings.. =p nv did know that food for offering, eg chicken, duck or fish all must be in full w head & tail etc.. really is an experience.. & of cos, the chicken rice is superb. haa *big laughs*
- congrats to the 2 future great chief, Nik & Jan!! -

N i've cooken chicken liver ytd.. *weee..* was v tasty too.. *lick* nv did expect it to be good cos was my first time touching raw chicken liver (abit gross) as well as cooking it.. haa.. but i did good in the end *big smiles!!*

so.. we gonna cook baked pumpkin w kangaroo meat today..! oohh.. and before u guyz start saying *gross* or *disgusting*.. Kangaroo is one of the most popular meat here in Aussie after Beef.. that's cos they have ample kangaroo around & kangaroo meat are 98% fat-free so am supposing-ly v healthy =) however, shld anyone of u wanna try cooking kangaroo meat, pls grab the marinated meat instead of the one w/o marinate .. it's super raw, smells damn bad, taste v 'raw' too.. =S no kidding.. *hee* thus i guess most kangaroo meat sold here are marinated.
was cutting & marinating the kangaroo meat for dinner tonight but i jus can't get the small off my hands even after soaping.. soo...
Beware of the Kangaroo!
hee *laughs*
jus went for my 1st vaccine shot of Gardasil aka Cervical Cancer Vaccine.. had a jab at school this morning & No.. it's not free.. (free for Aussie only.. =S ) it's 150 bucks per shot X 3shots =450bucks.. *weee....* i know, i know.. super expensive but it's actually cheaper here as compared w SG so decided to get it here =P
but my arms are super sore!! (feels as exactly the same as the HB jab - equally sore) can't lift heavy stuff, even a bowl also can't..! %$@#&^%*&(
*sigh* and i still have another 2 more shots to go.. =S

went Sunshine Coast ytd morning to it's Underwater World..
it ws a freaking 3hrs drive from Gatton to sunshine coast thru' Warrego Highway to Brisbane City before hitting Bruce Highway..
*OMG!!* my butt went 'zzzz...' la..!! *haaa* =P
can't believe that me - being the passenger at the backseat - can be soo tired out in the drive & what more can i say abt the drive, Abby (our Aussie new fren)? *poor Babe* Abby got abit lost while driving us back from Sunshine Coast & she got so apologetic.. - no worries babe -
however,
*thank you soo much Abby, for the comfie car ride in yr Toyata Echo* -big smiles-
left Gatton ard 8.45am & only reach Sunshine Coast ard 11.45am *phew..* had our lunch @ The Wharf (where the underwater world is..) & we've got fresh seafood! (i think.. hee =p) it was a family-sized seafood platter.. hee & it was fried! so no idea whether was it really fresh a not though.. hee =P oh well, but the fish does taste abit fishy.. *big laughs!* they have huge fried crab-stick that looks like fried sausage lah.. hee :)
Underwater World is something like the one at our Sentosa but then again, it was not as good as the one Sentosa had.. =P ha, really..!
maybe we being Singaporeans really did take Singapore for granted.. always complaining 'about this, about that'. For eg, the transportation at SG is gonna increase its fares again in such a short period of time.. & we're complaining non-stop.. but do u know how much transportation really cost in Aussie?? *v v ex!!*
their normal bus ride is at least $2 and it can go up to $7 per trip.. how ex is it?!! *imagine* their train ride to get to the Airport is already at least $7-$10 depending on location.. well, SG's MRT at most also nv go past $2.. haa =P - am jus making a comparsion though -
really am learning to appreciate all that SG has now.. we have so much World-Class stuffs that we didn't know about & took for granted off.. & the few best examples are our Zoo, Night Safari, Sentosa, Underwater World.... hee *big laughs*

ha, look damn fake as well wor..
oh, touched sea-cucumber as well! ha, that was extremely soft-touching.. hee
:)
then we're treated to a stingray feeding session =P
did u know that we are actually touch the 'barb' aka sting of a stingray w/o getting the venom?
cos u'll have to really agitate or frighten the stingray so much that it will sting u hard enough to break it's own skin in order for the venom to come in contact w our flesh ..
=P
*oh.. looking that those big stingray & my mouth goes all watery thinking of BBQ stingray w lots of sambal chilli toppings*
- saliving! -

=)
would have love to enjoy the rain shld i have warmer clothes.. =P
that hive u see up in the tree is actually not a bee or warp hive,
it's a tree-termite hive wor.. (common sight in Aussie)
normal termites we have in SG are actually ground termites, living in ground whereas these termites lives in trees. "another name = arbori termites"
N do u know that termites in tree is not necessary a bad thing? they are good indicators of decaying wood as termites only feed on dead-wood and not live-wood. heee, =P So should u see a tree w termites, it jus meant that the tree might be decaying on the inside..
:)
